| Borgo Matrignano houses and Residences |
The village is an ancient rural settlement dating back to
1300 and has been cleverly renovated. The formal and
environmental characteristics have been maintained, using
typical materials of the area.
The farmhomes and residences are all in stone with vaulted
ceilings with exposed beams. Furnished with extreme taste using
traditional furniture and objects, equipped kitchens, satellite
TV, Wi-fi, and independent heating. The farmhomes are available
for stays: long
term (more than six months) or for short-term (minimum of one
week)
The village where the farmhomes are located is called Borgo
Matrignano, which is situated within an exclusive wooded estate
of about 300 hectares. You can reach it by driving down a long
private path inside of the forest itself for about 1.5
kilometers. The woods are
composed of oaks, holm oaks, and pine trees, while the
surrounding land are planted with olive trees for the production
of organic extra virgin olive oil- DOP Umbria and pasture of
sheep.
Within the estate there are two lakes that contribute in making
an ideal view. During your walks, you can meet various types of
protected species of animals living in their natural state. |
